How do I manage Guest Forms?

Guest forms are one way you can opt to receive ticket submissions.  Forms are great because you can gather more specific information up front to better assist your guest. Also, if you use LibraryH3lp for live chat support, you can direct guest to your form when chat is unavailable.

You can add/edit/delete guest forms under Settings within the Ticket module. The Form Builder lets you customize every aspect of your form with ease! You can style the form’s appearance, customize the feedback a guest receives on success/failure when submitting the form, add additional items, and edit or remove items as desired.

To add additional items, drag the item from the "Add Items" tab into the form builder area on the right. You can reorder items in the form builder by dragging and dropping. Clicking an item in the form builder will activate the "Edit Item" tab and you can make changes to the item’s metadata as well as the item’s appearance. Alternatively, you can also edit the item’s appearance (labels and placeholders) directly in the form builder.

To delete an item, make sure that the "role" for that item is set to "None" within its "Item Metadata" first and then you will see the pink "Remove from form" button appear at the top of the column.

Since some form items can be hidden, there's a "Reveal hidden form fields" checkbox located at the top the form builder area. By default, you can see the hidden fields. Unchecking the box will show you the form as the guest will see it.

There is also a handy "Copy" button you can use if you have several similar forms you'd like to create.

Click the "Embed" button to access the embed code for your form. "Copy" the code to your clipboard and them paste the embed code into your web page.
